Sunset Over Chesapeake Bay
This sunset caught me by surprise as my wife and I walked a quiet path along the edge of the Chesapeake Bay in Kiptopeke State Park on Virginia's Eastern Shore. The breakwater visible above the tree line was constructed using the hulls of nine concrete hulled ships built during World War II. Two of some dozen such ships actually saw combat mission during the war!
